Barrington Analysts Selected for Wall Street Journal’s
“Best on the Street”

Alexander Paris, CFA, and Alexander Paris, Jr., CFA were selected from 3,330 research analysts at nearly 220 firms by First Call Corp., to be among the 492 analysts featured in The Wall Street Journal’s “Best on the Street Analysts“ survey.
The criteria for selection focused on stock recommendations and forecast predictions for calendar 1999. These analysts have thoroughly studied coverage companies, know their managers, understand their strategies, products and services—and provide careful advice on investments even in the face of difficult market conditions.
The awards for performance were given in fifty different industries. Alexander Paris ranked third for earnings forecast accuracy in covering the Industrial Tech and Office Products industry. This is the second time that he has been the recipient of Wall Street Journal honors. Alexander Paris, Jr. ranked second for his earnings estimates forecast in covering the Consumer Products and Services industry.
These analysts are judged on consistent performance and credibility, qualities that are often lacking in the wide-range of free, unfiltered equity news and research information available to individual investors on the Internet.
